8 HOUR LULLABY
by Lexy / in Well-being
Max Richter has composed an eight hour long lullaby designed to be played as soon your head hits the pillow and through until morning. It's purpose is to aid your sleep and relax every part of you.
The wonderful Wellcome Trust, in conjunction with BBC Radio 3, are broadcasting a version of this live from the Wellcome Collection in Euston. A few lucky Radio 3 competition winners were able to take to a bed and sleep the night away as the music is played in the same room!
NEED SOME HELP RELAXING
I love this idea and as someone who finds sound relaxing; a telly, a radio, a voice can often help me drift off, I am keen to try this and see how refreshed I feel the next day. What a lovely way to spend the night.
SLEEP took place from midnight on 26th to 8am on 27th September 2015. It is available on the BBC iPlayer Radio until 28 October 2015.
