WHAT INSPIRES US
THE WILMINGTON GIANT
by Alastair / in Learning
I suddenly came across it whilst looking for Wilmington Church. I still turned my back to it and concentrated on an amazing, huge, ancient yew tree in the churchyard, propped up by a myriad of stakes. It made me think about all the beautiful things that lie, often un-noticed, alongside their more ‘famous’ views.
WHERE’S YOUR WILMINGTON GIANT? INSPIRATION: IT’S EVERYWHERE
Inspiration. We don’t function without it and without thinking about it. Every scrap of graffiti, every missed train, discarded magazine, fleeting view, a line from an overheard conversation are food for thought. As is food. And thought.
Our skill is converting these little moments into something we can use in our work - a starting point for an exercise, a fresh perspective or a tool to unlock ideas in a workshop.
Inspiration informs our thinking. We are constantly on the lookout for different ways of working and this keeps us fresh for our clients – and ourselves. That’s good news all round.
What inspires you? Answers on a postcard, please.
